Event Details

Instructor: Jo Hockenhull

This workshop will focus on drypoint, a method of creating an intaglio plate by incising lines, patterns, shapes and textures directly into the surface of an acrylic plate. You will use a scribe or dremel tool with a diamond point. The resulting image is inked and printed onto rag paper using a roller press. Work from your own drawings, photos, collage images, or develop compositions from your experimentation with this process. On day two, you will learn various approaches to adding color.Learn more and register online at www.SalemArt.org/programs/annex/art-workshops.
