The Lord & Schryver Conservancy is delighted to welcome visitors and tours to the Gaiety Hollow gardens. Elizabeth Lord and Edith Schryver frequently opened their gardens to visitors eager to see their timeless beauty and we are happy to continue that tradition. Mature hedges and shrubs form the backdrop and “bones” to the seasonal display flowers. Visitors in spring enjoy a gorgeous array of camellias, azaleas, rhododendrons, tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. Later in the season, beds overflow with colorful old-fashioned flowers like Canterbury bells, zinnias, marigolds, heliotrope, and delphinium. In late summer, the dahlias, asters, and other late-blooming plants will steal the show.
