The Hallie Ford Museum of Art (HFMA) is pleased to present a complimentary lecture in conjunction with the “John Buck: Prints and Sculpture from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation” exhibition. Linda Tesner, director of the new and recently opened Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at Portland State University, will present an illustrated lecture about John Buck and his kinetic sculptures and extraordinarily large and stunning woodblock prints.

Tesner is the co-author with Kenneth Wells and John Yau of a major monograph on John Buck’s woodblock prints and kinetic sculptures.

“John Buck: Prints and Sculpture from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation” will be on view starting January 26 and continuing through March 29, 2020, in the museum’s Melvin Henderson-Rubio Gallery.
