Following the Ceili of the Valley’s inaugural Samhain Celtic New Year Festival at Grant Community School, Portland-based traditional Irish band Na Rosai will play a concert 7 to 9 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 630 Hood St. NE, just a block from the Grant campus.
Concert admission is $15, but there is a $5 discount with Festival wristband.
Admission to the Samhain Festival is $10 adult and $5 students. Free for children younger than 12.

This concert and the Samhain Celtic New Year Festival are being organized by the Ceili of the Valley Society, a Salem-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and perpetuating Irish heritage and culture in the Willamette Valley primarily through social events that incorporate music and dance. An all-volunteer organization, the society teaches weekly classes, and holds dances with live music on the second Friday of the month. For more information, visit www.ceiliofthevalley.org.
