Event Details
Join us for the unique experience of a cider yeast tasting here in the 1859 taproom. We’ve fermented a flight of six ciders: same orchard, same vintage, same Cidermaker, and the same apple – the Winesap apple. Come taste the subtle, unexpected, and delicious qualities each cider has based on the different yeast strains used. Along with the tasting, we’ll be talking science about what makes yeast a beautiful and diverse element to making hard cider.
Space is limited so registration is required. Click on the “Registration” tab and bring a copy of your receipt to class. Sorry, no refunds or rainchecks as this is a one-time, special event.
We’ll also have our friends Prologue Pastries & Sandwich Library on site, come enjoy their handcrafted local eats and treats!
