D.J. (Dave) Butler has been a lawyer, a consultant, and a corporate trainer. He now lives in Utah with his wife and three children in a house where one of the 20th century’s biggest bestsellers was written. When he isn’t writing fantasy novels, he plays guitar.

Christopher Husberg grew up in Eagle River, Alaska, where he had plenty of time to play Warcraft and read fantasy novels. He got an MFA in Creative Writing from BYU where he studied with Brandon Sanderson. He currently lives in Provo, Utah with his wife and daughter.
