We are thrilled to host an educational and art focused workshop with Wildwood Needle and Craft!
https://www.wildwoodneedle.com/
Attendees will be invited to enjoy 1859 Cider Co. cider as they are lead through a couple of basic stitches and the pattern for a spider felt merit badge.
As everyone settles in to stitch, entomologist Dr. James LaBonte will take the floor and give a 20-30 minute educational talk about some of Oregon’s most misunderstood critters: spiders! At the end of the night, everyone will have learned some embroidery, learned something about spiders, and have a patch to prove it!
Sew this to a jacket, purse, backpack…the list is long!
Registration is $25 and includes a drink ticket, lecture, and instruction/supplies
Mark your calendars now!
